SELLA FAMILY HOLIDAYS

Sella family holidays – summers are perfect for the youthful family. Traffic is banned from the main square in July and August so you can take the kids down and enjoy the two bars, the sun, the weekend games of Pilota – or of course wander up to the town swimming pool. Our houses both have  maps of the village and guides to the local short walks.

VILLAJOISA AND ITS BEACHES

Villajoyosa´s mile of sandy beach is just 15 minutes away  – go and visit the fishing fleet as the boats come in ( from about 16:00 everyday except Saturday and Sunday) or join the trips round the Valor chocolate factory. There  are bars and restaurants to suit every pocket and taste  – we recommend the Hogar del Pescador, down at the Marina, or the Posit restaurant, a short walk along the front. Restaurante Madrid, right up the other end, is a family-run place with excellent rice dishes. Or walk right round the quay and find the Lonja bar at the fishing port where you can have a beer while you watch the fishing boats unload in the afternoon.

• Guadalest – the little town on the top of a hill
• even Benidorm, if you like that sort of thing!

But even if you never leave Sella, there are short walks, visits ( the old Mill 10 minutes away), the natural pool and picnic site at the Font Major and of course, Sella´s 6 bar-restaurants, 2 wood-fired bakeries and 2 shops.

For peace of mind there´s a daily doctor´s surgery, a Chemist and an A&E just 20 minutes away between Benidorm and Villajoyosa.

Sella is easily reachable . 50 minutes from Alicante airport with cheap airlines to most UK cities.
