Steve   came to Sella in 1989 when the very first ” Casaroc” was set up. Many generations of climbers remember the old house fondly – it was a bit rough and the roof leaked but it saw a lot of action  from the UK climbing community!

Some time ago we retired from the rental business after fifteen years,  but life has got to be a bit boring so I’m re-launching Casaroc, the way it used to be: two twin rooms, terrace, 4 single beds, WiFi – if you’re a returning customer it’s the same with some improvements:- there’s now a bannister rail on the stairs and the terrace has a permanent Pergola area, rain and sun -proof.

Just use the contact form to enquire or make a booking – we opened on December 1st 2022 not really knowing what to expect – well, it’s been busy! At first a few short-stay guests, Christmas, New Year, then, through the year more and more Spanish clients coming for weekends, and now, the winter of 23/24, groups of climbers again, some new, some old friends! It’s really good to to welcome back to Casaroc groups and families who remember us from 10 or even 15 years ago when we had barely started! Long may it continue. We’re also now on Booking.com and AirBnB – a move that I’m still not sure I approve of, but it seems to be where many people look first, even walkers and climbers, so it just had to be done – cheaper if you book direct, though!

We’re also on Guardian Home exchange and HomeExchange.com and  have had a number of really good house swaps, so think about it!
